(New York, NY)  vdiscovery is pleased to announce that its Director of Technology, Daniel Barak, has been awarded the status of Relativity Expert. This is a title held by fewer than 3 percent of Relativity professionals worldwide. Mr. Barak achieved this status after attaining specialty certifications. These certifications demonstrate his extensive knowledge of both core and advanced features of the Relativity platform.

“We at vdiscovery are very proud of Relativity’s recognition of Daniel as a Relativity Expert. However, we are not surprised. Our clients have long benefited from the depth and breadth of Daniel’s Relativity knowledge,” states Michael Wright, General Manager of vdiscovery. Jared Harary, Director of Sales, concurs, “Daniel is a rare talent and the time and savings our clients have realized from his expertise cannot be overstated.”

Mr. Barak has been vdiscovery’s Technology Director for over 11 years. He holds a degree in Computer Science from Columbia University.  Additionally, he has been instrumental in building, maintaining, and always improving the company’s critical data infrastructure. Daniel is also an expert software developer, computer forensics professional, and a frequent speaker on topics of eDiscovery. Most recently he has spoken about the rapidly shifting frontiers of discoverable data sources and their implications for individuals, attorneys, and their clients.
