Last night, at the 7th Annual Life Preservers Project FUNRaiser, vdiscovery supported WiE (Women in ediscovery) as they celebrated an important cause by throwing pies in the face of some of the top ediscovery professionals in the City.
Life Preservers has assisted Girls Educational and Mentoring Services for 7 years. GEMS’ mission is to empower girls and young women, aged 12-24, who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation and domestic trafficking to exit the commercial sex industry and develop to their fullest potential.
In 2014, the NYC Chapter of Women in ediscovery began their support of Operation Backpack. Each year since 2001, Volunteers of America-Greater New York has been distributing new backpacks. These backpacks are filled with grade-specific school supplies to homeless children throughout NYC.
A night of fashion, art, and, most importantly, giving back to the community.
